In 1964, Wesley E. Surgi founded Surgi's, laying the groundwork for our company. During the years 1978 to 1981, Surgi's was recognized as the largest Trane dealer across the United States. Specializing in new builds, Mr. Surgi was pivotal in the growth of the Metairie, Kenner, Slidell, and Mandeville/Covington areas of New Orleans. At that time, Surgi's was responsible for 80% of the new construction mechanical permits submitted in Jefferson Parish, LA.

Ownership of Surgi's changed hands in 1995, now led by Debra and Craig Johnson. Mr. Johnson holds a Mechanical Contractors license for the State of Louisiana and all necessary licenses for Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, St. John's, and St. Charles Parishes. He, along with his wife Debra and their two kids, Evan and Rachael, lives in the New Orleans region.

Surgi's has changed throughout the years. Starting as a new construction firm, Surgi's has expanded its product offerings to include service for all brands of heating and air conditioning equipment, as well as replacements.
