My four years in maintenance management have equipped me with skills in failure analysis, oversight, and problem-solving. I belong to the Home Builders Association of New Orleans, have been CMRP certified since October 2011, and am a recipient of NASA's Director's Commendation Certificate and the Space Flight Awareness Team Award.
My journey in this field started in 1996 with a maintenance position at an oil and gas/energy industrial plant. I transitioned to residential and commercial work for half of my career, then wrapped it up at another industrial facility for NASA. Frustrated with a lack of motivation at my previous job, I chose to venture out on my own. This choice has rekindled my enthusiasm for the electrical trade. I take pleasure in performing electrical work, and this change has made me a better professional, as I am now more motivated than ever.
