Surgi's was established in 1964 by Wesley E. Surgi, marking the beginning of our legacy. Between 1978 and 1981, Surgi's became the largest Trane dealer in the United States. Specializing in new builds, Mr. Surgi was pivotal in the growth of the Metairie, Kenner, Slidell, and Mandeville/Covington areas of New Orleans. At that time, Surgi's was responsible for 80% of the new construction mechanical permits submitted in Jefferson Parish, LA.

In 1995, ownership of Surgi's transitioned to Debra and Craig Johnson. Mr. Johnson is licensed as a Mechanical Contractor in Louisiana and has all required licenses for Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, St. John's, and St. Charles Parishes. He and his wife Debra, along with their children Evan and Rachael, call the New Orleans area home.
