Surgi's was established in 1964 by Wesley E. Surgi, marking the beginning of our legacy. From 1978 to 1981, Surgi's held the title of the largest Trane dealer in the nation. Focusing on new construction, Mr. Surgi played a key role in developing the Metairie, Kenner, Slidell, and Mandeville/Covington suburbs of New Orleans. At that time, Surgi's was responsible for 80% of the new construction mechanical permits submitted in Jefferson Parish, LA.

In 1995, ownership of Surgi's transitioned to Debra and Craig Johnson. Mr. Johnson possesses a Mechanical Contractors license for Louisiana, along with licenses for Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, St. John's, and St. Charles Parishes. He, his wife Debra, and their two children, Evan and Rachael, reside in the New Orleans area.
