Specializing in new builds, Mr. Surgi was pivotal in the growth of the Metairie, Kenner, Slidell, and Mandeville/Covington areas of New Orleans. During this time, Surgi's accounted for 80% of all new construction mechanical permits filed in Jefferson Parish, LA.

In 1995, ownership of Surgi's transitioned to Debra and Craig Johnson. Mr. Johnson possesses a Mechanical Contractors license for Louisiana, along with licenses for Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, St. John's, and St. Charles Parishes. He, his wife Debra, and their two children, Evan and Rachael, reside in the New Orleans area.
