In 1964, Wesley E. Surgi founded Surgi's, laying the groundwork for our company’s history. Between 1978 and 1981, Surgi's became the largest Trane dealer in the United States. Specializing in new construction, Mr. Surgi was pivotal in the growth of the Metairie, Kenner, Slidell, and Mandeville/Covington suburbs of New Orleans. At that time, Surgi's was responsible for 80% of the new construction mechanical permits submitted in Jefferson Parish, LA.

In 1995, ownership of Surgi's transitioned to Debra and Craig Johnson. Mr. Johnson holds a Mechanical Contractors license for the State of Louisiana and all relevant licenses for Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, St. John's, and St. Charles Parishes. He, his wife Debra, and their two children, Evan and Rachael, live in the New Orleans region.
