He has experience not only in residential buildings but also in a range of commercial and industrial projects. Recognizing that Hawaii is one of the top 10 states in the US for solar rating, he saw the opportunity to become one of Hawaii's leading providers of renewable energy solutions. Since 1993, the first team of solar technicians at AEI embarked to realize Bruce's mission.

I entered the electrical industry in 2018, driven by a desire to start my own business. Having grown up in the construction world, with my father as a general contractor, I have deep roots in this industry. My goal is to bring the Aloha spirit into our services and ensure our customers are well taken care of.

Owner and RME - I’m Aukai Pruett, a Honolulu native. I entered the electrical trade at 17, working for A-1-A Electric. I moved up from laborer to apprentice, then to journeyman, ultimately becoming foreman. I managed my own assignments at A-1-A, dedicating 15 years to the company. Feeling prepared, I took a leap of faith to start my own company, armed with knowledge, experience, and skills. I am fortunate to report that my business is flourishing, largely due to referrals from satisfied customers.
