When I arrived in Hawai'i in 1969, my goal was to surf and live the dream I envisioned as a young surfer from California. I began by shaping and glassing surfboards, but after marrying my lovely wife, Peggy, and starting a family, I decided to shift my career. I learned the trade from my best friend, Craig, who had just entered the electrical field before me. After becoming licensed, I established Paumalu Electric. I currently manage the company with three of my sons and two other talented individuals. While the company has grown and earned respect, I still make it a point to surf whenever I can.
