Peterson Jr. Mr. Peterson began his journey as an electrical apprentice/technician during high school and later earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Alabama A&M University, a M.S. in Power Systems Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and an MBA in Business Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. Mr. Peterson sought to integrate his extensive experience as an electrician, inspector across various sectors, field service engineer, maintenance engineer, power systems engineer, project manager, and design engineer to ensure top-notch service for customers. Surprises can strike at any time. In those moments, you need a team that responds promptly. Hammond Services has been serving the Griffin, GA area since 1979. After retiring from the Air Force, Ed and Barbara Hammond launched the business. After earning his degree in HVAC and Electrical from Griffin Technical College, Ed began his journey. The business began as a modest venture with only Ed and Barbara on board. Before long, their reputation for quality service attracted more customers, and the team grew. The first employee they brought on was Jeff Snow, an HVAC technician. He continues to be a valued member of Hammond Services. In 1989, Wayne Hughes joined the team, expanding their services to include plumbing. David Hammond, their son, entered the family business in 1994. David graduated with an engineering degree in 1982 and worked in a corporate setting for 12 years prior to joining. David became the President of Hammond Services when Ed and Barbara retired in 1998.

The challenges of being a small business owner are something David relishes. He emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement. His aim is not growth for its own sake, but rather to improve the service provided. He knows that by improving, growth will come as a result. Active involvement in his profession and local community is important to him. His Christian faith is central to how he conducts his business.
