Peterson Jr. Starting as an electrical apprentice in high school, Mr. Peterson pursued a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Alabama A&M University, a M.S. in Power Systems Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and an MBA in Business Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Peterson aimed to merge his diverse background as an electrician, inspector for residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, field service engineer, maintenance and reliability engineer, power systems engineer, project manager, and electrical design engineer to provide exceptional service to clients. Unforeseen issues can happen in an instant. When such situations occur, a quick response is essential. Since 1979, Hammond Services has been a trusted name in Griffin, GA. Ed, a retired Air Force veteran, and Barbara Hammond established the company. Ed graduated from Griffin Technical College, specializing in HVAC and Electrical. Initially, it was a small operation with just two team members—Ed and Barbara. Word quickly spread about their outstanding service, leading to growth. Jeff Snow, an HVAC expert, became the first addition to their team. He continues to be a valued member of Hammond Services. In 1989, they welcomed Wayne Hughes, who helped introduce plumbing to their service lineup. David Hammond, Ed and Barbara's son, became part of the business in 1994. He earned his engineering degree in 1982 and spent 12 years in a corporate role before returning. In 1998, Ed and Barbara stepped back, and David assumed the role of President.

David enjoys the challenges that come with running a small business. His focus is on constant enhancement and improvement. His aim is not growth for its own sake, but rather to improve the service provided. He knows that by improving, growth will come as a result. David believes in being engaged in his industry and the community. Most importantly, he operates his business on Christian principles.
