I first got involved in my teenage years by competing in residential electrical competitions. I participated at the regional, state, and nationally stages. I was able to achieve first place in the state two years in a row for Georgia and achieved third in the national competition. From that point on, I dreamed of establish my own electrical company. After gaining experience under numerous talented electricians for years, I decided it was time to begin my own journey. I met my wonderful wife, Taylor, in 2019 and tied the knot in 2022. Our daughter, Stella Grace, was born in 2023, which temporarily paused my business plans. I’ve always done electrical work in my spare time to support my young family. However, it has always been my goal to dedicate myself to electrical work full-time. So here I am with Oshields Electric. This is my step to better my family’s life and with the hope of making a difference in everyone I interact with.

From my high school competition days and my experience in the electrical trade after graduation, I’ve developed a deep passion for electrical work. I used to do corporate and heavy-duty electrical work as an associate of Georgia Power. But, nothing fulfills me like performing residential electrical work.
