Jeff has been an electrician since he was fourteen. Under the mentorship of an electrical contractor, a friend of his father, he wired an apartment in the attic of a neighbor's house. Following high school, Jeff enlisted in the Navy to ensure his safety during the Vietnam War. He served as an airborne radar operator aboard the USS Intrepid. Jeff was highly trained in electronics.

After his Navy service, Jeff began his career as an electrician in Flemington, New Jersey, earning $4.10 per hour. Like many electricians, Jeff advanced through the trade. He chose his employers wisely, aiming to stay with commercial and industrial firms. Jeff possesses expertise in all areas of electrical systems.

Jeff received his Master Electrical License in 1985. He founded Lynco Electrical and later established Lynco Fire & Alarm. He has been married for 29 years and has two children, Jason and Jessica, plus a granddaughter named Jelisa.
