He ran an electrical contracting business in Northern Virginia from 1968 until relocating to Florida in 1990. After several years at the Cape, he launched Bill Cowherd Electric in March 1994. In 1998, Bill Cowherd and Andrew Hunt came together to form Electrical Energy Systems. Unfortunately, Mr. Hunt left us suddenly in February 2012, and Bill Cowherd has maintained the operations since that time.
William has been involved in the electrical field since he was six years old. Following his time at Penn State, he participated in the Virginia Electrical Apprenticeship program for four years while working in the family electrical business in 1963. After completing his apprenticeship, he has continued in the electrical industry to this day.
