Initially, the focus was on delivering fire alarms and extinguishers to businesses and residential neighborhoods, but the team quickly diversified into emergency lighting and all forms of commercial lighting.

After eight years of advancing as far as I could within the company, I decided to launch my own business, which I did in December 1988, naming it West Coast Fire Equipment, Inc. I have managed this business for the last 27 years with success. In 1990, I started providing lighting products and repair services under the fire equipment brand, and the business grew until I launched a new company, West Coast Lighting of SW FL, in January 2001. In 2015, we updated our name to West Coast Electrical & Lighting Services to more accurately reflect our services today. I have received training in specialized equipment to diagnose electrical problems and have over 25 years of experience in this area.
