In 2017, Guillermo successfully passed his state-certified electrical exam, leading to the establishment of Jeec Electric.

The mission of Voltron Electric started with my grandfather, Robert Tarr, a farmer from Paris, Kentucky, who valued hard work and dedication to one’s craft. His core belief was in serving humanity; he ensured that no family near his farm in Paris, Kentucky, would go without food. He planted the idea that everyone deserves respect, dignity, and kindness simply for being human.

My grandfather passed this strong ethic to my father, Kenneth Tarr, who left the family farm in 1954 with little money but big aspirations. Even with limited means, he carried forward the family tradition of hard work and commitment. His dedication led him to master the electrical trade, which he then taught to me. At just eight years old, I began my journey in electrical work under his guidance. I also have a son, which allows me to keep our family legacy alive.

Our path was prosperous from the outset because we provided our patrons exceptional craftsmanship, great value, reasonable rates, personal integrity, and excellent customer service.

Through hard work and tenacity, our business flourished. In 1996, we added a Heating and Air Conditioning Division. We now have over 75 service trucks and have become a Factory Authorized Carrier Dealer. In only our second year of operation, we were honored with the Carrier Award for installing more Carrier systems with EPA-approved Puron coolant than any other Florida contractor. By our third year, Aqua had installed and executed more residential and commercial air conditioning installations than any other Carrier Dealer in the state of Florida.
