While I was an apprentice, I completed a degree at the American Builders & Contractors Institute in their Electrical Apprenticeship Program, a four-year course that taught me how to apply the National Electrical Code in real-world situations.
As the years went by, I moved up from helper to apprentice, then to lead Journeyman, and ultimately to Master Electrician. After years of successfully leading my team, the economy faltered, and I was in search of employment. I activated my master's license and founded Excel Electric LLC, instilling in all our employees the same standards of workmanship that have brought me to where I am today.
