In 1985, Lynco was established as Lynco Electrical. In 1984, Jeffrey Lynn, our owner, achieved his Master's License in Electrical. We offered electrical services to condominium associations, property management firms, and high-rise buildings through Lynco Electric. In 2006, Lynco Fire & Alarm Corp. was created to meet the increasing demand for life safety system installations. Our Electrical Division participates in commercial service work and new installations.

Jeff started his journey as an electrician at the age of fourteen. With help from an electrical contractor who was a family friend, he wired an apartment in the attic of the neighboring house. After graduating high school, Jeff joined the Navy to find a safe haven during the Vietnam War. He worked as an airborne radar operator on the USS Intrepid. Jeff was highly trained in electronics.

Post-Navy, Jeff started his electrician career in Flemington, New Jersey, with a starting wage of $4.10 an hour. Like many electricians, Jeff advanced through the trade. Jeff was selective about his employers, preferring to work with commercial and industrial companies. He is proficient in every phase of electrical systems.

In 1985, Jeff earned his Master Electrical License. Jeff opened Lynco Electrical and later founded Lynco Fire & Alarm. Jeff has been married for 29 years and has two children, Jason and Jessica, along with a granddaughter named Jelisa.
