Industrial Electric Testing was established in Florida during the autumn of 1987 as the testing branch of Industrial Electric Construction Company. James T. Hill, who was the Chairman of the Board and Owner of IET, later acquired Industrial and transformed it into an independent testing entity.

IET is a proud full member of the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an ANSI standards organization that includes independent electrical testing companies throughout North America and Canada. IET functions as an impartial test authority, thanks to its full membership in NETA, remaining independent of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the evaluated equipment or systems.

The headquarters of Industrial is located in Jacksonville, Florida, catering to the northern, central, and western areas of Florida, as well as southern Georgia. Since 1994, we have operated a branch office in Hallandale to support the southern region of the state.
