In January 1981, I entered the fire equipment field, just a week after finishing high school, by taking a position at Fountain Fire Equipment in Ft Myers, FL. After eight years of advancing as far as I could within the company, I decided to launch my own business, which I did in December 1988, naming it West Coast Fire Equipment, Inc. For the past 27 years, I have run this business successfully. In 1990, I began offering lighting products and repairs under the fire equipment name, and the business continued to expand until I established a new company, West Coast Lighting of SW FL, in January 2001. In 2015, we changed our name to West Coast Electrical & Lighting Services to better align with our current operations. I have been trained in the use of specialized equipment for diagnosing electrical issues and possess more than 25 years of experience in this field.
