My journey in the fire equipment industry started in January 1981, one week after high school, when I began working at Fountain Fire Equipment in Ft Myers, FL. After eight years of advancing as far as I could within the company, I decided to launch my own business, which I did in December 1988, naming it West Coast Fire Equipment, Inc. I have managed this business for the last 27 years with success. In 1990, I began selling lighting products and performing repairs under the fire equipment name, and the business flourished until I created a new entity, West Coast Lighting of SW FL, in January 2001. In 2015, we updated our name to West Coast Electrical & Lighting Services to more accurately reflect our services today. I have received training in specialized equipment to diagnose electrical problems and have over 25 years of experience in this area.
