Initially, the focus was on delivering fire alarms and extinguishers to businesses and residential neighborhoods, but the team quickly diversified into emergency lighting and all forms of commercial lighting.

My journey in the fire equipment industry started in January 1981, one week after high school, when I began working at Fountain Fire Equipment in Ft Myers, FL. After eight years of advancing as far as I could within the company, I decided to launch my own business, which I did in December 1988, naming it West Coast Fire Equipment, Inc. For the past 27 years, I have run this business successfully. In 1990, I began offering lighting products and repairs under the fire equipment name, and the business continued to expand until I established a new company, West Coast Lighting of SW FL, in January 2001. In 2015, we changed our name to West Coast Electrical & Lighting Services to better align with our current operations. I am trained in using specialized tools to identify electrical issues and bring over 25 years of experience to the table.
