Johnson Electric began its journey in the early 1950s under the leadership of J.B. ""Jimmy"" Johnson. For many years, he and his son Cliff managed the business, building a recognizable fleet of distinctive green work trucks. During the autumn of 2018, Cliff took a well-deserved retirement from his operational duties at Johnson Electric. Soon after, his son, Isaac Johnson, also departed, making room his new family and a career as a microbrewer.
