The mission of Voltron Electric started with my grandfather, Robert Tarr, a farmer from Paris, Kentucky, who valued hard work and dedication to one’s craft. He held that serving others was paramount; he made sure that no family close to his farm in Paris, Kentucky, faced hunger. He sowed the principle that all people should be treated with dignity and respect, simply for being human.

This strong work ethic was passed down to my father, Kenneth Tarr, who departed the family farm in 1954, carrying big dreams despite limited resources. Though he had little, he upheld the family legacy of hard work and dedication. He learned the electrical trade through hard work and passed that knowledge on to me. I began working in electrical tasks at eight, guided by his teachings. I also have a son, which allows me to keep our family legacy alive.

As a licensed electrician at Voltron Electric, I also oversee our online presence.
