Electrical work has been a long-standing interest of mine. Under my father's mentorship, I became an Aviation Electronics Technician in the Navy. In March 1987, I completed the introductory program in Electronics and Electricity located in Millington, Tennessee.

After my military service, I was lucky to start working right away with the Navy Housing new construction project at NAS Pensacola. This began in March 1993. Once that project wrapped up, I was promoted to work on the Naval Brig at NAS Pensacola.
