I entered the electrical field in 1985 by attending Los Angeles Trade and Technical College. I completed a two-year program in Electrical Construction and Maintenance while gaining hands-on experience as an apprentice in the afternoons. I transitioned to Mammoth Lakes in 1988, starting my career as a ski lift electrician at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area. I was responsible for the construction and upkeep of ski lifts, water systems, and the development of the snowmaking compressor building and pump stations. I also created and implemented new control systems for many of the existing ski lifts. In 1999, I made the decision to shift my focus to my contracting business, leaving the ski area, and I have proudly served the Eastern Sierra since then.
