Back in 2005, we started as a solution homeowners in the Santa Barbara area. We were working on several different construction projects and frequently encountered challenges trying to find leaks. Other companies offering leak detection faced significant delays or imposing steep charges. To expedite our projects, we began locating leaks ourselves using a single vehicle to enhance our efficiency and are now running three serving the wider Santa Barbara area.

Gary, our founder is a lifelong resident of Santa Barbara. He is a certified general contractor, electrician, and plumber as well as a member of the California Bar. Gary focuses on handling leak detection inquiries, but maintains a familiarity with many areas of construction. When he is not working, he is an avid surfer and is passionate about boating and seeks every opportunity to be on the water.

I began a five-year apprenticeship in 1990 with Local 11 in Los Angeles County, focusing on Commercial/Industrial Inside Wireman. I achieved Journeyman certification in 1995. During my twelve years in the industry, I worked on various notable projects, including Lockheed, Santa Clara County Hewlett-Packard, and underground high voltage for universities and hospitals. I have worked on various projects, including the Universal Studios ET ride, remodels at the Beverly Hills Hotel, oil refineries, Vons supermarkets, and Glendale Memorial Hospital, among others.

In 2003, I launched my own business and received my California C-10 Electrical Contractor license. By 2005, I was involved in developing the latest technology car washes in Southern California. My proudest achievement is the California Speed Wash in Simi Valley. I have completed wiring for countless homes, barns, retail stores, offices, restaurants, and cement plants. With 30 years of experience, I have handled hundreds of residential and commercial jobs. I have consistently been in good standing with the Contractors Board. I have long-term clients I’ve been serving for over 15 years.

I came into the world in Simi Valley, CA, during a hot August in 1965. I grew up in Moorpark, making me a fifth-generation resident of Ventura County. At 17, I enlisted in the Army and spent three years as a Helicopter Mechanic. I went to Moorpark College at the age of 20.

Before I was 24, I had various jobs, including Grocery Clerk, Auto Detailer, Autobody Technician, and Construction Laborer. I have a passion for reading, sports, and home improvement projects that include woodworking. I watch many shows, including American Pickers, Gas Monkey Garage, Swamp People, DIY programs, and of course, the Food Network. I value my family and friends deeply. I approach each day as it comes.
