Subsequently, I went to Parks College of Aeronautical Technology in Illinois, obtaining my commercial pilot and multi-engine licenses. It was there that I met my wife Anne, and I decided to stay grounded to raise a family.

We eloped and settled in Burbank, California, where I began my apprenticeship with a licensed electrical contractor and worked as a plant electrician for Pacific Aero.

Although I enjoyed my time at Pacific Aero, I sought a more direct connection with the community, leading me to establish Modern Electric in 1984.

It has been a great blessing to witness all four of our children graduate from Burbank Schools!
