I visited California on vacation. I held a position as an Electrical manager for Raytheon System Engineering located in Micronesia. I was captivated by the climate & the variety of the community residing here, it was amazing. I go by Gordon Peebles. My electrical experience commenced at age 8. I became intrigued by the mysteries of electrical energy. My 3rd grade teacher got me involved in a children's club called the 4H club, it was the introduction of electricity. I learned about electricity for four years and then worked with the neighborhood electrician on Saturdays and Sundays for practical knowledge, then later in high school for four additional years earning a certificate in Electrical technology. After high school, I took a full-time role as an trainee electrician where I gained the skills of operating electrical equipment, installation and system applications, blueprint reading and troubleshooting electrical systems. Subsequently, I took a 2-year course at Sumter Area Technical College in: Electrical Maintenance Technology and the state licensing exam, which led to two journeyman certifications, one from the state of SC and Massachusetts. Three years later, I gained admission to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and obtained an A.A. degree in Electrical Engineering. I consider myself honest, just, and dedicated.
