I came to California for a holiday. During that period, I worked as an Electrical supervisor for Raytheon Systems based in the Micronesian region. I fell in love with the environment plus the diversity of the people in the area, it was wonderful. Being a licensed electrician in two other states and had been the past two decades, so the transition was quite smooth. I completed my contract with Raytheon and went back in 2001, where I worked here as an electrician for Parrott, as I studying for the state contractor exam for electrical contractors, I passed the first go and officially went into business, on the date of December 21, 2001. This was the start of Peebles Electric Service. I have never had any regrets and that choice. My love for my trade & a stronger commitment to please my customers, and this dedication has been my key to success in such a great and dynamic career. I go by Gordon Peebles. I began my journey in electrical work started at age 8. I developed a fascination for the intricacies of electrical energy. My 3rd grade teacher introduced me to a children's club called the 4-H organization, which focused on electricity. I learned about electricity for a period of four years and then assisted with the local electrician on Saturdays and Sundays for hands-on experience, subsequently later in my high school years for another 4 years earning a credential in Electrical technology. After high school, I secured a full-time role as an apprentice electrician where I acquired the expertise of using electrical tools, setting up and applications of systems, interpreting blueprints and troubleshooting systems. Subsequently, I enrolled in a two-year program at Sumter College in: Electrical Technology and the state licensing exam, earning two journeyman certifications, one for the South Carolina and MA. 3 years later, I gained admission to M.I.T. and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering. I am reliable, just, plus committed.

As a lifelong resident of the Bay Area, I am a veteran of the Navy with a decade of service. Currently, I hold licenses as a C-10 and C-46 electrical and solar contractor (CSLB #1080386). I concentrate on delivering electrical services, including solar energy solutions as part of my services. Unlike many contractors, I work as a sole proprietor, which allows me to ensure personal accountability and uphold quality in each project for my community.
