After five years of honorable military service, including combat tours in Iraq as an infantry medic, I began my journey as an electrical contractor. Once my service ended, I started an electrical apprenticeship in the Los Angeles area, where I honed my skills on major commercial projects, including the LA/USC County Hospital and the LAX International Terminal Replacement. After completing my five-year apprenticeship, I moved to San Luis Obispo to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Once I settled on the central coast, I knew I wanted to make it my permanent home, and the rest is history!

From the age of 13, I have engaged in construction, having grown up in the Sierra Nevada mountains. I contributed to building a national construction firm (REC Solar) for 17 years, where the residential division evolved into SunRun and the commercial sector was acquired by the largest utility company in the U.S. (Duke Energy). I departed in December 2020 and founded my own company in 2021, but I have held a contractor's license since 2008 as I was the license holder for my previous employer.
