I started my construction career in high school, helping our elderly neighbors construct a home from an empty lot. I gained experience in Maintenance with the US Forest Service before enlisting in the Navy in '93. I underwent two years of training, earning my qualifications as a Nuclear Reactor Operator and Electronics Technician. After serving honorably, I transitioned to Kodak, where I began as an Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician and progressed to Trainer and Supervisor.

I moved to Mammoth in '03 and joined the Lift Maintenance Department at MMSA. I earned my C-10 Electrical license in '08 and founded B.I.G.. In 2010, I dedicated myself to B.I.G. on a full-time basis. In 2012, I took on the role of President of the Mammoth Lakes Contractors Association and was appointed Commissioner of the Town's Building Advisory Committee and Construction Board of Appeals. In 2017, I secured my General Contracting license, and I consistently prioritize my founding vision for B.I.G..
