I am the son of Calvin, a mason by trade, and I have memories of working alongside him since childhood. Later, he shifted to general contracting, where he built a variety of homes. I helped him by carrying bricks, blocks, and cement, doing whatever tasks he required. I helped him with home construction, and I think I drilled my first electrical hole at the age of 7. Honestly, as I grew older, I developed a dislike for construction and sought other opportunities. While attending college, I took a job with an electrical contractor that was supposed to last only three days. I performed well and finished the job in just a day and a half. He told me I could keep working if I remained productive. I found that I truly enjoyed the work and had a knack for electrical wiring. Since I wanted to marry soon, I left school and worked full-time as an electrician. Fast forward 20+ years, I now own my own business, have been happily married for 24 years, and have six kids. I am grateful for all my blessings.
