Honestly, as I grew older, I developed a dislike for construction and sought other opportunities. During my college years, I took a temporary job with an electrical contractor that was meant to last just three days. Things went well, and I completed the work in a day and a half. He offered me continued work if I stayed busy. I discovered a passion for the work and a talent for electrical wiring. Eager to marry, I left school and committed to working full-time as an electrician. Now, over 20 years later, I own my own business, have been happily married for 24 years, and have six children.
