I became a member of WECA, an electrical apprenticeship program, knowing very little about construction. During the five-year apprenticeship in both commercial and residential settings, I learned a great deal in all aspects of electrical work. Simultaneously, I watched other trades, inquired, and gained insights through trial and error.
I completed the training within the expected timeframe in 2010, despite I lacked enough hours due to the 2009 market downturn, which led to a two-year slowdown.
I felt weary of being the least experienced on the team. Not wanting to travel for prolonged times, I was laid off whenever business dipped. Thus, I decided to create my own path. Each time I was laid off, I started making moves to start my own venture and develop it into a successful enterprise. It was doing well, but I was presented with too many requests for jobs exceeding $500 (the cap for handyman work), and too few jobs within that range. As a result, I reduced the handyman business and focused on obtaining my license as an electrical contractor.

During my leisure hours, I spend my spare time traveling, motorcycling, and updating my homes.
