In 2007, my wife and I chose to move to the central coast to be closer to our family in the Bay Area. I was also working on a new business plan to pivot my company from construction to a service-oriented model. Although we couldn't foresee it then, this shift in focus was timely as the construction sector faced significant downturns in the following years. Rebuilding our business from the ground up in a new part of California was tough, yet we are thankful for this opportunity. With over 15 years of service to the central coast and a solid reputation for quality, we are excited for the future. We have made this region our home, and we love serving our neighbors!
Being the son of Calvin, a mason, I remember working with him since I was a child. He eventually became a general contractor, constructing many houses. I carried bricks, blocks, and cement, assisting him with whatever he needed. I was always there to help when he built homes; I believe I drilled my first electrical hole when I was just 7. Honestly, as I grew older, I developed a dislike for construction and sought other opportunities. While attending college, I took a job with an electrical contractor that was supposed to last only three days. I performed well and finished the job in just a day and a half. He told me I could keep working if I remained productive. I found that I truly enjoyed the work and had a knack for electrical wiring. Wanting to get married quickly, I dropped out of school and worked full-time as an electrician. More than 20 years later, I run my own business, have enjoyed 24 years of marriage, and have six children. I feel blessed.
