In high school, I took my first construction job, aiding our retired neighbors in building a house from the ground up. Prior to enlisting in the Navy in '93, I worked in Maintenance for the US Forest Service, acquiring essential skills. I underwent two years of training, earning my qualifications as a Nuclear Reactor Operator and Electronics Technician. Following my honorable discharge, I began my career at Kodak as an Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician, later becoming a Trainer and then a Supervisor.

In '03, I made the move to Mammoth and started working in MMSA's Lift Maintenance Department. In '08, I received my C-10 Electrical license and launched B.I.G.. I went full-time with B.I.G. in 2010. In 2012, I was elected President of the Mammoth Lakes Contractors Association and appointed as Commissioner of the Town's Building Advisory Committee and Construction Board of Appeals. In 2017, I obtained my General Contracting license, and I continue to keep my founding vision for B.I.G. at the forefront of my mind.
