Don Holly, Richard's father, assumed control of the business in the late 1970s. Having witnessed the dawn of the electronic age, Don installed numerous color TVs during the late 50s and early 60s. He reminisced, “The kids would sit there, eagerly waiting for the antenna to be hooked up so they could watch cartoons.”

Richard became the owner in 1996 and has achieved unprecedented success in the company's extensive history. Richard remarked, “I would get calls from locals saying my grandfather wired their houses; it made me understand the importance of being a third-generation owner.”
