Honestly, as I grew older, I developed a dislike for construction and sought other opportunities. While in college, I started a job with an electrical contractor that was initially intended to last only three days. I did well and wrapped up the work in a day and a half. He mentioned that I could continue working if I kept myself busy. I discovered a passion for the work and a talent for electrical wiring. Wanting to get married quickly, I dropped out of school and worked full-time as an electrician. More than 20 years later, I run my own business, have enjoyed 24 years of marriage, and have six children. I feel blessed.
