My electrical career started in 1998 in Ireland, where I completed a four-year apprenticeship. I worked for the same electrical contractor, starting as an apprentice and advancing to foreman. Upon relocating to New York, I took on the role of foreman electrician for a general contractor, focusing on upscale apartments and commercial buildings in Manhattan. I continued with this contractor until I relocated to California, where I passed my General Electrician exam and obtained my journeyman license. Subsequently, I took the contractor's exam, which resulted in the founding of Emerald Pacific Electric in July 2010.
