In high school, I took my first construction job, aiding our retired neighbors in building a house from the ground up. Prior to enlisting in the Navy in '93, I worked in Maintenance for the US Forest Service, acquiring essential skills. During my two years of training, I became a Nuclear Reactor Operator and Electronics Technician. Following my honorable discharge, I began my career at Kodak as an Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician, later becoming a Trainer and then a Supervisor.

In '03, I made the move to Mammoth and started working in MMSA's Lift Maintenance Department. I earned my C-10 Electrical license in '08 and founded B.I.G.. By 2010, I committed to B.I.G. full-time. In 2012, I took on the role of President of the Mammoth Lakes Contractors Association and was appointed Commissioner of the Town's Building Advisory Committee and Construction Board of Appeals. I earned my General Contracting license in 2017, and I remain focused on my original vision for B.I.G..
