I am the son of Calvin, a mason by trade, and I have memories of working alongside him since childhood. He eventually became a general contractor, constructing many houses. I assisted him by hauling bricks, blocks, and cement, helping with any task he had. When he built homes, I was there to lend a hand; I think I drilled my first electrical hole at age 7. Honestly, as I grew older, I developed a dislike for construction and sought other opportunities. While in college, I started a job with an electrical contractor that was initially intended to last only three days. I did well and wrapped up the work in a day and a half. He mentioned that I could continue working if I kept myself busy. I discovered a passion for the work and a talent for electrical wiring. Eager to marry, I left school and committed to working full-time as an electrician. Now, over 20 years later, I own my own business, have been happily married for 24 years, and have six children. God is good.
