I am the son of Calvin, a mason by trade, and I have memories of working alongside him since childhood. He later transitioned to a general contractor, building numerous homes. I helped him by carrying bricks, blocks, and cement, doing whatever tasks he required. When he built homes, I was there to lend a hand; I think I drilled my first electrical hole at age 7. Honestly, as I grew older, I developed a dislike for construction and sought other opportunities. While attending college, I took a job with an electrical contractor that was supposed to last only three days. I performed well and finished the job in just a day and a half. He told me I could keep working if I remained productive. I realized I loved the work and had a talent for electrical wiring. Eager to marry, I left school and committed to working full-time as an electrician. More than 20 years later, I run my own business, have enjoyed 24 years of marriage, and have six children. God is good.
