My background is in mechanical design and fabrication. I realized early on that I find joy in working with products that are essentially functional art.

Working on motorcycles, boats, cars, and our family RV with my dad has always been a joy for me. I love tackling the challenge of fixing anything that I find intriguing. As a child, I was always engaged in building and creating. As a young parent, I adapted my son's electric car to run on my DeWalt cordless drill battery for its superior power, torque, and faster charging, enabling me and my adult friends to zip around the backyard.
