George Premo began his electrical career in San Diego at the age of 17. After completing a four-year apprenticeship at the esteemed SDCC electrician trade school, he graduated in electrical theory.

At 22, George successfully passed the state exam to receive his Certified General Electrician License and he quickly followed up with his C-10 electrical license. He spent the next six years serving San Diego homeowners and small businesses, which he still does.

In 2010, George felt the impact of the economic downturn. During this time, he adapted Premo Electric to serve the military community in San Diego. George served as an electrical inspector for military facilities until the economy rebounded.
