From the age of 13, I have engaged in construction, having grown up in the Sierra Nevada mountains. I spent 17 years helping to establish a national construction business (REC Solar), where the residential part became SunRun and the commercial side was taken over by the largest utility firm in the nation (Duke Energy). I established my own business in 2021 after leaving in December 2020, but I have been a licensed contractor since 2008, serving as the license holder for my last employer.
