From a young age, Taylor has been involved in the electrical field. He initially worked in sales at his father's business, focusing on electrical supplies. As he moved into fieldwork, his knowledge of the products he sold helped him become a better electrician.

Greg is a local of Morgan County and the last-born son of David and Wonda Dobbs. Having grown up in a construction-oriented family, as his father was involved in the construction industry in North Alabama for over 40 years. In the time leading up to purchasing Ronald Terry Electric, Greg was employed one of the largest industrial electrical contractors in the area. His background included roles as an industrial electrician in high-voltage systems, PLC programming, and systems design. As he concluded his time with the company, he served as senior electrical estimator. He has experience in steel mills, the car manufacturing industry, aircraft manufacturing, copper production, home appliance manufacturing, food production, the chemicals and film industry, cryogenics, and the tech industry. Given his diverse experience from fieldwork to supervisory roles, it was a logical step for him to launch his own business.
