During 1972 Chuck Turner as a stakeholder of Jackson Electric and enhanced alarm system design and installation. By 1978 the division of the firm's safety solutions from the power division, and in 1982 it became Jackson Security Services. During that year, JSS acquired Business Security Services in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

The year 1988 saw, he purchased both the electric and safety divisions and integrated the companies. In 1992, Turner's son, Brad was appointed as Vice President of Jackson Security Services, and by 2000, he was recruited as Vice President and General Manager.
