In 1972 a new partner, Chuck Turner as a stakeholder of the electric company and enhanced security system design and installation. In 1978 the separation of the firm's safety solutions from the electrical services, and in 1982 it became Jackson Security Services. During that year, JSS acquired a competitor in security in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
In 1988, he acquired both the electrical and security services and combined the companies. The year 1992 marked, Turner's son, Brad was appointed Vice President of Jackson Security Services, and in 2000, he was hired as Vice President and General Manager.
In 2014, Jackson Electric Services joined forces with a similar company in the Tuscaloosa vicinity. Currently, Jackson Security Services remains its dedication to service. Jim Essary remains at the helm the company as the VP and General Manager.
