I had a small electrical problem that I could not rectify.
I call Zimmerman Electrical Company, based on a recommendation from a neighbor.
I explained my issue with the gentleman who answered and he recommended it try something I didn't think of and to call them back if that didn't work. His suggestion worked and I was able to resolve my problem.
Many vendors would have come out, fixed the problem quickly and then charged me for the call. I understand..that is their business.

The rep from Zimmerman displayed to me the utmost in customer service.

I will recommend Zimmerman Electrical Company to anyone who asked me for an electrician.
Outstanding customer service and that it what matters.

I needed an electrician to come out and install ceiling fan/lights in 2 bedrooms. Zimmerman was quick to respond to my yelp message asking for a rough quote and we then scheduled them for the morning. I am came out around 9 am, with full PPE gear and ready to tackle the task.

He first fixed the switch in one bedroom so the fan could work, then took his time and tested the fan before moving to the next room.

I had never used an electrician and was nervous that they wouldn't assemble the fan (I thought I had to do that part) but Ian handled both room fans perfectly and showed us how to use them.

Ian was professional and polite, and finished around 1130 that day. I would absolutely use them for more electrical work in this older Torrance home. I received the invoice via email a few days and was happy that it was about the same price as originally quoted.

Really good at remote communication, They were emailing to help setup the best appt slot. Their person was ontime, polite, and got right to work. Very reasonable $95 per hour and seems like they did good work! Thanks again for making it easy and painless.

I needed a professional electrician to solve an unusual electric problem I was having, and had no recommendations from friends so I chose based on Yelp reviews! That was a smart move...
I didn't get a quote up front because I didn't know what was involved. It was a complicated wiring problem that arose in an 80 year old house.
Dave and Ian came - masked - and were here for almost 4 hours, using their expertise and knowledge to finally figure out what the problem was.

Problem solved!!! And I was going to be mailed a bill .. wasn't sure what they would charge me, but I had faith! I was stunned by how reasonable they were!!!
If you need help I wholeheartedly recommend them!!!

We called Zimmerman based upon these reviews so I feel compelled to write one. We've had them come by to add a socket for a dryer (2 visits) and to add a socket for EV (2 visits). They accomplished what they said they would however, they were never on time and when they came for the EV instal they knew they needed 2 people (they had already been here twice before). They showed up well over an hour late with only 1 person. That won't work. So then they had to come back. Once again well over an hour late and over 4 hours later we do have a place to plug in the EV but I've wasted 2 days off of work in the process. In theory their prices would be what is expected but considering I've taken 4 days off of work to accomplish 2 jobs... they are really expensive.
