I purchased a Tesla electric vehicle and needed a 220V outlet for charging installed. I found several contractors on the Tesla website and contacted several with delayed responses to my phone messages. I called Zigg Electric and my call was immediately answered by owner, Steve. He told me he was doing a job in my area later during the week and would stop by my house after job finished. Steve came by as promised, looked at my job, made cost savings suggestion, gave me an estimate and scheduled installation. I felt comfortable at meeting Steve and pleasantly surprise at his estimate for the job.

Steve arrived early for job and completed within an hour and half. I was very pleased at the work done by Steve of Zigg Electric and would highly recommend this contractor for any electrical work needed by residents. I will definitely contact Zigg Electric for any future electrical needs for my home.

Did ok work. Added some plugs and installed 240 in garage. I paid for a permit and inspection, never followed through. Emailed back and forth over 4 months, giving me the run around. He finally just stopped responding. Never refunded inspection amount.

Steve came highly recommended by a friend and I am so glad I followed the recommendation. Steve installed the NEMA 15-40 circuit for electric vehicle charging. While it was a simple project, Steve offered a couple of alternatives. On the scheduled day, Steve arrived on time an made fast work of it and the price was EXCELLENT. Highly recommended.

How can this be only the second review for Steve Z and his fantastic Zigg Electric?

Steve came recommended from Tesla Motor's find-an-electrician website. I had called around for the other electricians, but he was the only one to return my call quickly and promptly.

He came in, installed the port. Came back a week later with the inspector and the inspection passed without a hitch.

Steve was friendly, very generous with explaining everything (NEMA 14-50 this... 240 that...) And this was a non-nonsense, straight-forward transaction that I'd take any day, any time.

We hired Steve to bury our power line in our backyard. At first, things seemed to go fine. He was personable, and seemed like a good guy. We were even considering using him for a future solar install. Unfortunately for us, he damaged some pipes we had underground that we told him about in great detail ahead of time, including pictures of pipes and their location. When we discovered the leaking pipes (turned out caused by his excavator), we let him know about it and he admitted responsibility and said he would take care of it. Sadly, he chose instead to not stand by his word, and left us with a $1,700 repair bill. We contacted him multiple times and he never did pay for the damage done. We were extremely disappointed at being burned.

Steve is a wonderful, smart, electrician who can analyze a problem and come with several solutions. He then will work with various constraints to solve the problem in a timely fashion. Also very responsive on the phone for questions/solutions. Very happy with his services.
