These guys saved the day! Our very old A/C decided to have an electrical malfunction on one of the hottest days. They came out at the last minute (on a Saturday!) and they had all the needed parts with them.

To be fair, first thing I need to say is that these seem to be nice and helpful people, but they did not do a good job and actually made things a little dangerous.
I hired Zico because my drywall guy recommended them. My drywall guy later told me that they were available on short notice...and that was his primary consideration. This irritated me because when I ask for a recommendation, I expected some real consideration.
They were scheduled to arrive at 10am (between popcorn ceiling removal and painting). They were late. To their credit, they called and informed me of this so I asked the painters to wait another hour. But then I got another call saying they would arrive in the afternoon. This was the first sign that things were not going to go well. The painting and patching was finished and those guys removed the tarps and cleaned the floors up. Paint was dry before Zico arrived at 2:30pm!
I simply wanted a two-way light switch for a single chandelier. They said 'no problem and started work
A few minutes later I found drywall debris all over my nice wood floors with electricians grinding the debris into the wood with their shoes. It sounded as awful as it looked. I asked them to please clean the mess up and to not work like this. They swept up but never put a canvas down. Other electricians had put canvas down in the past but not these guys.
We were right in the height of Covid and one of them was half-masking. I asked this person to wear his mask properly. He pulled it up but 5 minutes later, he had it down again. I explained to him that my wife is immunocompromised and that it was imperative that he properly wear his mask. Turned out he had a heart condition and he needed to keep it down. He seemed to be struggling to breathe even with the mask down. I have to ask, 'why is this person working...in his condition...during the height of Covid...if he is also struggling with his health?
Two hours later, they were running into issues and there was a lot of drilling in the attic. and a lot of talking about what to do. I realized that this was not an easy job for them after all. They finally finished at 5pm. They showed me the light was switchable from one switch and then turned it off from the other. They left.
Not one minute, I turned on the switch and heard a soft pop. The light was not working. Not only that, but the bathroom light and fan was not working either. They came back and fixed the the bathroom light and tested it in front of me...bathroom lights are working too. Great! They left again.
Now my internet was not working and the whole side of the house was out of power. I went to the breaker and one was tripped. I turned the breaker back on and heard a louder pop. Something was very wrong.
They came back the next day and fixed that issue and I had them stay until I felt everything in the house from the stove to the AC was working. Seemed good. They said the wiring was very complicated up there but I had a sense they were in over their heads.
One morning, I locked myself out of the house and rang the doorbell for my wife to open the door. But she couldn't hear the doorbell. Want to know why? You guessed it, they wired to the 2 way switch to the doorbell! I never thought to check the doorbell!!! I asked them to come back but they said it couldn't have been anything they did because the doorbell was 'low voltage' and not something they would have used to wire the chandelier to. It would cost $159 to do another service call. Was not sure I wanted to pay this money to find out I was wrong...it is a pretty old doorbell after all.
I believed them until one night I heard the doorbell ring! Turns out when the living room chandelier is on which (in the evenings)...the doorbell works. When we turn the chandelier off...you guessed it...the doorbell doesn't work.
I texted them about this...never heard back since.

Tomik and I believe his uncle came to my home; prior to coming, they asked for a deposit. Their quote was the highest of all companies. While talking to Tomik, his uncle broke a pipe connector, to alarm me and create urgency to their service. I changed my mind about their service and my deposit was never refunded.

Tomik and his partner were great. They showed up when they said they would, and were both wearing masks. They were very polite and immediately had solutions to my electrical problem as well as options for fixing the problem. I definitely got that they were committed to doing a good and fair job, not that they were out to get as much money from me as they could which is so often my experience with people that I hire to do a job.

As a owner Im wasnt able to pull permits on my own I needed a licensed company with a C10 license which you were.Alone with stating the city inspectored signed off on..That was a lie and mis representation on behave of your company. 2nd..The inspector requested the following 1) single line diagram, 2) plot plan 3) loan schedule.
All of these things should have been discussed upfront...Yelp readers pleasd see attached email from the City inspector...this company is out for a quick buck...

I sent out a request for bids to replace my faulty dryer outlet and Zico responded within a few minutes. They had availability for my requested time and showed up exactly when the told me they would.
They arrived and within minutes found the issue. The breaker for the specific outlet needed to be replace.
They fixed the job within 25 minutes (including the time it took to go to their car and check to see if they had an extra breaker on hand).
I will be using these guys in the future for anything else I need.
Keep up the great work guys!

I've used Zico Global Electric once a few weeks ago for a variety of issues that I had at my house. Tomik identified them straight away, offered good solutions and fixed every issue in a careful manner.
Would definitely have him back and therefore recommend him.

Hello everyone,
I chose Zico for my house wiring projects among all the electricians in the LA area. They are very honest and fair when giving out cost estimates and do not try to up-sell. You can use their expertise to both do your work per city code and save on the costs.
Highly recommended.
